Waterloo International Terminal, LCR

Land & Property Services to Government

LCR’s expertise in land and property matters, particularly rail-related land and property, is made available to support the Department for Transport and other Government agencies.

DfT has commissioned LCR to manage a number of valuable rail sites, including Waterloo International Terminal and the North Pole Depot at Old Oak Common in West London.

LCR manages a substantial portfolio of interests on behalf of DfT, including those inherited from BRBR. This effective stewardship, coupled with the specialist skills and expertise they are able to provide on transport and infrastructure projects such as HS2, means LCR deliver good value to Government.

Malcolm Twite Head of Group Property, Group Commercial Services, DfT

LCR acts as HS2 Independent Land Advisor for the Department of Transport. Drawing on its expertise and experience of land assembly for major infrastructure projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, LCR provides assurance to DfT on HS2’s land assembly activities.

DfT has asked LCR to monitor the performance of Highways England in respect of their day-to-day management of the Rail Heritage Estate, and to provide support on CTRL (HS1) legacy property matters.
