Birmingham Curzon Street HS2 station, HS2

Public-Private Sector Partnerships

Bridging public and private sectors partnerships

LCR was established as a private sector company in 1994. In 2007, it came under public ownership by DfT and took with it the skills and experience acquired in delivering a major infrastructure project in HS1 and complex flagship regeneration schemes at King’s Cross and Stratford.

We now operate on the cusp of the public-private sector, with the ability to work collaboratively with the private sector and public bodies to maximise the value of public assets – whether through the management or development of property to support the Government’s drive for homes, jobs and economic growth.

The HS2 Growth Partnership is working with most of the local authorities along the route. This collaborative approach is giving rise to long term investable masterplans which will seek to maximise the number of jobs and homes as well as driving value and the best customer experience in the stations.

HS2 Growth Partnership, National

As part of the HS2 Growth Partnership, a collaboration between LCR and HS2 to support regeneration around HS2 stations, LCR is working in partnership with local authorities to produce investable masterplans which will deliver the maximum number of jobs and homes up and down the route and also ensure that the stations are effectively integrated into their surrounding environments.
